Hello TV members.

Has anyone applied for permission to stay (retirement) at the Nakon Prathom office lately?

Any problems or concerns?

How about online 90 day report success?

Thanks for all replies. thumbsup.gif

I did my 90 day recently , only my passport was required , but I am already in their system.

The lady told me I could do my 90 day report online next time.

I was there in December to extend on the basis of retirement. I have been going there since the office opened 5/6 years ago.

Never had a problem. Staff very friendly and very helpful.

Just make sure you have all the documents, etc. in good order and I am sure it will be plain sailing.

Yes but the point is things may have changed.

That could be the case if I had been there yesterday.

The office has been fine for over 5 years and continued to be so when I did my 90 day report in March.

I'm due for another 90 day in a couple of weeks and I'll see what happens.

I was there 28 April for 90 Day Report + Extension of Stay (retirement) + Re-entry Permit.

Drive from my home in Ratchaburi Province - 50 minutes. As last time, arrived just before 8am, to get an early place in the queue.

The door is opened early and air-con switched on by the caretaker. The tickets numbers are on a desk inside. I got ticket number one. Staff start to arrive from about 8:15. The N P Immigration Office got increasingly busy quite quickly, and at the time I left, ticket number 20 was taken. (A couple of visa agents / representatives arrived about 8:30, and took three or four queue numbers each).

My number called at 8:40, after TV was switched on, cups of coffee on officers desks, and morning niceties had been exchanged.

All my transactions were completed by 8:55. I was asked only to make a photocopy of the page in my passport with the re-entry permit upon it (5 Baht) , and return it to the officer. Out of the car park by 9:00.

The lady who dealt with my case (desk number 2) was the same one who did so last year. Very efficient and polite.

My 'paperwork' for the extension was based on money in the bank for 3 months, with a 'fresh' bank letter dated one day before my visit.

My 90 day report was passed to a young member of staff, sat to this officer's right, who seems to be their 90 day person. My report was 15 days before its due date.
