Cheaptickets.com how to call customer service from Thai?

Standard prefix is 001 and then 1 for USA, so becomes:

Customer Service at 1-877-233-7061 ------------> 001 1 877 233 7061

Outside the United States: 001-312-596-5786.---> 001 1 312 596 5786

This 001 prefix is quite expensive (24 B/min?).

For cheaper connection you can use 009, so:

009 1 877 233 7061

009 1 312 596 5786

Rate for 009 is 2.5 Baht/min (fixed as well as mobile).

The numbers from the Thai website are from Bangkok.

Try them, whether they understand and speak English well:

02 676 1269

02 676 1270

Not so much cheaper from the mobile (usually 2 Baht for first min, 1 Baht for following min).

Have you started your travel yet? Is it the return flight? If so you should be able to change with the airline involved. If not you are stuck with your online agent and their level of customer service.

Unfortunately none of those numbers worked from my mobile. "Number is not assigned" it said...

Having the same response trying to call the int'l operator in bkk, I tried: 100, and 110. "number is not assigned" again...

What service does your mobile use? true move? Ais, dtac? . They all have there own discounted international calls prefix number.

True move. 006

Dtac 004

Ais. 00500

Dial one of those numbers followed by "outside united states number" you have posted. If that doesnt work. Check you have phone credit? Or just ask someone else to dial the number for you. Or use someone else's phone. You might need top up your phone credit with a few hundreds of baht or more? You might have to hold a long time before they answer. You dont want to be cut off before you have finished and have to start again.

Thanks for that, I bought a 300B phone card from 7-11, that worked and I got through. I must have been on the line with them for 30min, it was only about 20 baht of 300B credit to my surprise. Not bad! But cheaptickets couldn't change the departure date for me for some reason, and said I would need to call China Southern in Bkk and that they could reissue the ticket for me. (I just know they are going to tell me they can't do it either, and to call cheaptickets again...)

Fares at this time are now 500USD more than when I booked a month ago, so with the cheap ticket fees of 238USD plus whatever the difference is now with the higher prices from China Southern, I'm expecting it to be 7-800USD. I only paid 930USD return a month ago so this is indeed a bummer.

I use I-mobile 3GX, which always costs about 230baht a month with internet. Don't know their Int'l prefix, first I've heard of it but good to know. Thanks!

Changing tickets is almost always a problem. And almost always a costly endeavor. One reason I tend to book direct and not with 3rd parties. Easier to go to the source if you need help.
