Hey guys

I just want to ask about the marriage extension:

I applied for my very first extension in October last year. My visa will completely finish on November 9th 2015.

When I apply again, does the 400k need to be in my account 60 or 90 days before I apply again? The first time was 60 days.

Also, if my visa finishes November 9, do I apply again on this date or do I do it a month before etc?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

For an extension of stay based upon marriage the money only has to be in the bank for 2 months for every extension.

You can apply up to 30 days before your extension ends.

You do not have a "visa"

The "extension of stay " based on marriage requires the same paperwork/proof of finances as was provided previously.

Application is best made approx 30 days prior to the existing extension of stay expiring

Okay, cheers.

Just wanted to confirm the money had to be in 60 days before every extension and not just the first one.

I will submit all the same documents again 30 days before November 9.

Thanks for the replies.

One last question.

If extension officially finishes November 9 and let's say I have to do a 90 day report on November 6. That would mean it completely finishes February 3 for example; could I submit documents and bank book 30 days before February 3?

Or does it have to be 30 days before extension officially finishes?

It is 30 days before the date your extension ends.

Your 90 day report has nothing to do with when your extension ends. All that happens if you don't do a report is you pay a 2000 baht fine.

90 day reports have NOTHING do do with ones permission to stay in Thailand

If you care to glance at the 90 receipt it sates................

"THIS IS NOT AN EXTENSION OF STAY. NOTIFY YOUR ADDRESS AGAIN ON --/--/---- KEEP IN PASSPORT"
