My European health insurance ends in a month and requires to repatriate for a minimum of a month in order to renew it. I would rather like to stay here.

Which insurance is good for me? 34 years old, not smoking, not drinking, not sick, only motorbiking. I stay on tourist visas and would be in Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines -every three months for about a month.

An internationally based policy with worldwide coverage (or worldwide except the US , assuming you will nto go there-- reduces the cost).

Best to contact an insurance broker to get advice and comparison charts, prices etc. There are many different things to factor in, including whether you want complete coverage or are willing to accept a deductible and/or copay; whether you want inpatient cover only, or also outpatient (which significantly ups the cost).

There are one or two products that will cover you fully in S.E.A. countries usually from companies like Allianz. An example the cost of 1 year full payment cover for you of USD 1m would be USD 881 and should you wish to add Assistance & Repatriation that would only be an extra USD 130.

May we suggest you go HERE for full details ?

I just went to AXA and got headache. They have like 7 plans, plus options for outpatient which again come with limits for total visits or costs. Also they only cover accidents for the first month. I would really appreciate some help ^^

Medical insurance is a minefield not only because of the number of options available but also we all have different needs which can depend on age and risk acceptance.

For personal options we are happy to discuss with anyone what they actually want and to offer different plans to full fill those needs. Initially please go HERE

Looking for a good Health Insurance, is not that easy. As mentioned in previous posts, contact a broker and they can guide you through.

I did that with my broker in Bangkok. Having a choice of a number of local and International Insurance companies,

I opted for an In-Patient only plan through a UK company.

My premium per year is just over USD 1000.00 and that is with US$1 Mill cover.I am in my early 50's.

You can contact my broker ,Steve on : [email protected] and I am sure that he will help you.
