Crab & Claw restaurant at Emquartier

Featured Replies

If anyone living in Bangkok or is visiting Bangkok and you love fresh seafood, I would highly recommend Crab & Claw. It is inside the new unbelievable Emquartier development opposite Emporium. There are over 200 options for eating ranging from the foodcourt, small independent stalls right through to Japanese, Seafood, Thai, Harrods Tearoom, French Bakeries, Italian etc etc.

Crab and Claw offers wonderful, fresh seafood and you can choose lobster, crab, 7 x kinds of oysters, shrimps, prawns, or fish and chips, etc etc. Our daughter had the beer battered fish and chips and it was excellent with fresh white fish. We choose oysters, crab and shrimps all washed down with Sangria, really really good.

If you love fresh seafood, I strongly recommend a visit.

While Emquartier is just another in a long line of "luxury" shopping malls, its selection of restaurants is really superb and there are many choices that are unavailable elsewhere. A welcome addition.

is it a buffet and how much does it cost

It's definitely not a buffet and is priced at about what you'd expect for a mall that houses Dior, Chanel, Prada, and Jimmy Choo stores...not to mention the Ferrari cars on display this month.

1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell for 800 thb, lobster roll sandwich (with french fries) 950 thb, and so on. (All prices are ++ so add another 17% for VAT/service charge.)

On a related note, the mall itself is pretty interesting with an aviary section (live peacocks and pheasant), Japanese-style water gardens, waterfalls, etc.

As brewsterbudgen noted, the variety of dining options is pretty impressive.
