I first thought it was a smiley, but when I took out my magnifying glass, the only thing I could see was OIF44D. Makes no sense to me in any way, but it keeps coming up in posts frequently. You state that you have seen this symbol in many posts on TV. I can not remember to have seen this here before. I have an Android smartphone and sometimes see Chinese characters on German language websites. Likely they should show up as some symbol. (as already written). http://www.codetable.net/decimal/128077 It IS a thumbs up (solid black). So I don't see the problem (except that I don't see this frequently in TV).
