He does have a lot on his mind of course with retirement around the corner and perhaps his next ' career ' is weighing heavily on his mind as is managing his assets portfolio and avoiding everything else that looks like a major decision. Stripping Mr. T's honorary rank should have been one of the easiest things he would have ever had to deal with yet he's done everything possible to avoid doing it and the reason, so far, can only be conjecture but the picture may become clearer after he's retired and he ... ? BINGO Wonderful excuse to disrespect the majorities wishes at the next election if they don't go the way of the shins... Of course the contempt they showed the majority for 3 years would never be the reason. The police chief brought down a few high ranking police officers for running corruption empires last year. And speaking of excuses the red apologists denounced him and Paryut by saying these actions were "token arrests" or "part of a bigger plan" all because they could not face the fact the Junta were proving them wrong with their positive "can do" attitude at stamping out corruption. So Somyot was a tool of the Junta last year according to the reds, but is to be respected this year according to the reds. Confused bunch who change their stance depending on what Somyot is currently doing. Well I still say Somyot is admirable and did the right thing last year (proving the red apologists wrong....yes, yes you have excuses). Democracy is being followed here through the proper legal channels and we must respect the process and let the law decide. If ithe decision goes against what I think it should be I will not throw crap at the judge, burn effigies of the judge or release the judges families home addresses. I will respect the decision. There are plenty of other parties out there, or are you saying they are not capable of governing ? Is the Shin regime the only ones who can do the job ? If so it means dark days ahead for Thailand.
