Man with Gun arrested in Central Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Monday a 23 year old man was caught with a loaded semi-automatic handgun in Central Pattaya by Police.

Officers were on routine patrol along Pattaya Third Road when they spotted a modified motorbike which was being driven by a Thai man who appeared nervous when he spotted Police.

Officers approached Khun Gisana and conducted a search which uncovered a 9mm semi-automatic handgun which contained a cartridge full of bullets with one in the main chamber.

A cartridge full of bullets? or perhaps a magazine full of cartridges (or bullets. One in the main chamber is clear enough, I guess.

Just example of random luck. Maybe they should check for guns on some of those roadblocks. Considering Thailand has more gun homicides than USA maybe they ought to look into a bit of law enforcement? Nah.......
