Why do you want your water tested? drinking supply? Irrigation?

Have 30+years of collecting and analyzing water samples. The only analyses worth doing from that list are the microbiological ones. If it comes back uncontaminated try drinking it. Does it taste okay? Is it brownish (possible iron issue). Then the water is fine.

All the rest are totally irrelevant. Some of them don't even make sense (total quantity as a chemical test???).

And 2,000 Baht to collect the sample!!whistling.gif

Bear in mind that is a google translation as the original is in Thai and I'm not allowed to post Thai script. (I think)

That was also the small test. The big one includes:

- Hardness

- Steel

- Lead

- Fluoride

- Mercury

- Cadmium

- Chromium

- arsenic

- Selenium

- barium

- Calcium

- Potassium magnetosphere

- Chloride

- manganese

- Nitrate

- Nitrile

- Copper

- Zinc

- sulfate

And the total cost is 14,300 thb

At least you would know you aren't drinking Arsenic

Yes thank you all for the input, the government hospital? HQ in Bang Jo also do a test that's 7000 baht.

The water is for drinking and appears to be clear.

Isn't it important to know you are not ingesting heavy metals?

Never really found high levels of heavy metals in any underground water supplies except in contaminated industrial areas. You can get high levels of iron and manganese (makes the water taste awful and you wouldn't drink it without treatment but they are not harmful), sulphates (can be hard on your stomach and makes coffee taste like $hit).

The lab that most professionals use is ALS http://www.alsglobal.com/

As I said earlier, mainly test for bacteria but if you want go for the heavy metals and at least it will put your mind at ease.
