Before you buy just go around all the dealer and ask how many free gift or insurance they can give you . billphillips Posted July 5, 2015 Share Posted July 5, 2015 Buy a 3.2 Mazda BT50 - pretty much what the Ford Rangers offers for less money with nicer dash (IMHO), reasonable service at the dealership and a smiley face at the front too. The 5 cylinder makes a nice noise when you give it the beanz too. Since Mazda is owned by Ford! No shock! No, it is not owned by Ford.You are right it's not owned by Ford, Ford are a shareholder of Mazda. For most of the models available in Thailand both companies use shared design and technology. They also share the same assembly plant over here. Although the Ranger/BT50, Focus/3 look much the same in body design the similarity ends there.
