Timeline for Referendum Greece versus Thailand ?

Featured Replies

just wondering why in Greece (not the most modern country in Europe) can organize a referendum in 6 days and why in Thailand it will minimum take 15 months?

In the UK , it takes more than 2 years..(..the euro referendum to blackmail the EU so that the UK doesn't have to pay so much) . So 15 months in Thailand is not the worst.

Yes because the UK government would like to deal with that topic not before 2017.

Of course you understand that the British can hold a referendum within weeks..

Should Thailand also aspire to mold its economic policies after the highly successful Greek model?

Hey it works pretty good for the Swiss. Although again , what about manipulation of the results ?

Well the Greeks didnt do to bad ,they lived high of the hog on other countrys money for years , lets see if Angela blinks first.

It remains big difference 6 days and or 15 months for an referendum...

Also i read somewhere that it will cost Thailand billions of bht just to hoost an referendum...

In this matter Thailand could copy the Greece referendum model...seems lots faster and cheaper...
