Water filter service interval

Featured Replies

We have a whole of house filter which is placed between the steel tank and pump inside the house. I wondered if any experts here know how often this should be checked / serviced please?

We have been in the house over 2 years I worry it is long overdue.

We are in pattaya if anyone has any reccomendations.

Thanks in advance.

It all depends on how much water you use,how contaminated the water coming in is,

but after 2 years i would clean it all out.

Is this a Resin system with reverse-flow cleanout?

The people who installed it should have provided you with instructions on how to clean it, and what routine maintenance schedule to keep, and when to replace the active element.

Do you have any paperwork on it, or will you have to guess by the instructions printed on the side?

also, do you have any debris building up on the bottom of the steel tank?

On the picture the label on the filter is not readable.

Could you do picture of the label or write down the company and model number (if any).

Maybe something could be found on the net (even if its in Thai only).

Thanks for all the advice. To answer a few questions.

The house is 10 years old, we moved in about 3 years ago. The water coming in is already filtered from a big system which covers about 10 houses so I guess it would be fairly clean.

No residue in the tank, and I will look again at the company when I get home tonight.

It obviously needs a good check up so if anyone has recommendations in Pattaya that would be appreciated.
