If so, you are entitled to get your deposit back, less the cost of any repairs and outstanding bills. Go to a lawyer and sue for your money back. They can not keep your deposit and force you to pay outstanding bills! You don't live in Bangkok do you? OP they should def not keep your deposit. I just moved out of my old place into a new one and deposit was returned less the last electricity bill. At least I knew it would be paid back and it was. What were you thinking agreeing to that? What? He was thinking he had to pay his deposit. He's on the wrong board.
