Divorce and Real Estate in Thailand

Featured Replies

I am a USA citizen and my wife is a Thai Citizen. We got married in the USA and are now going through a divorce.

My wife and I have real estate together in Thailand and I need help specifically with this. I don't believe my name is on the title deeds of the real estate, but my wife has agreed to give me back my money that I put into real estate. I am looking for legal assistance. I want to hire a lawyer that is familiar with Thailand law and can help me make my USA marital settlement agreement enforceable in Thailand, or help me by creating a separate agreement/contract that is enforceable in Thailand. Or do you have a better idea?

Thank you
