I have friends arriving on Sunday with Etihad EY408, which I need to pick up.

What should I tell them will be the meeting point, which is the easiest for them and me?

They can't do much wrong, They follow the stream and can only exit to the main building through this cattle gate at door 3 where all the pick ups and hordes of touts wait.

I just tell visitors to go through customs and keep walking. It's easy to find a spot where you can intercept them and as has been said, there's not really any other way they can go.
