Email spam rate hits a twelve year low

Spam-Email-702x336.jpg

Ever since the advent of email, the most annoying thing about it is undoubtedly spam. These days, I receive more spam mail than ever before, and it seems to be getting worse. We’ve all had it – emails with adult links in, Russian dating sites, and African princes sending chain mails asking for money. It’s an unavoidable fact of using the Internet, unfortunately.

For Thailand, forest lands have been drastically falling because of encroachment and the public should realise now how important it is to preserve the green areas and its rich resources in order to help tackle the global warming problem, Mr. Somchart added.

Drought eases off in Northeast, lingers in central region

BANGKOK, 19 July 2015 (NNT) - Continued rainfalls have eased drought problems in the Northeast, whereas the central region is still gripped by the prolonged dry season.

In the central province of Ang Thong, drought-hit farmers have stopped diverting water during this period, following the government’s announcement of sea water invasion expected between July 18 and 20.

Rajaprajanugroh Foundation has, meanwhile, launched water service centres in 53 provinces to help alleviate the situation in drought-stricken areas upon the suggestion of His Majesty the King. Villagers can acquire clean water at the centres for no charge whatsoever until the crisis is over.

While the arrival of rainfalls has yet to solve drought problems in the central region, it has revived farming in the Northeast. In Khon Kaen, local farmers are taking advantage of recent cloudbursts by speeding up their prolonged rice cultivation. In Ubon Ratchathani, thunder showers have lifted the water level in the Mekong River by two meters.

Despite the rainfalls, provincial governors in the Northeast have asked residents to continue to conserve water.
