Direct asia car insurance does anyone have bad experience ?

Hi,

I have used direct asia last year as they were far cheaper then others. This year the premium is again much cheaper as their competitors.

Sounds real good, I just like to know if others have bad experiences or if they are just cheap and good.

Often there is a correlation between quality and price but I have learned that this is not always the case in Thailand.

We are talking about a car insurance.

The only problem i had was the slow service for a renewal quote; I had to call several times.

Did you ever have to claim ?

I have had them for a year but did not have to claim. Its just they are so much cheaper as others it just made me wonder.

We put a few of them next to each-other each had the same terms and insured value but they were just far cheaper.

Not a claim, but have a thread. See if you can find. If can not, let me know will post link to it.

Found it.. strange they were real efficient with us too. And their prices.. they blow everyone out of the water.

Just need to know how they are once your claiming (hope i never have too)

Let me put it to you this way, AXA was only 3000 baht more and you do not need to worry at all

I called them for c250 quote

30k

Cheapest around

Axa 35k

The insurer is Falcon insurance from hong kong

Any ideas on that? Should I or not really.

In quote they dont show acctual policy just price 30k

Nothing about for what it is insured and what amounts....

I told them send me policy to read. Waiting

This was my experience with them http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/815589-direct-asia-insurance-personal-experience/

I went with AXA instead , as 3-5K more is hardly a budget breaker, but sure gives you a peace of mind
