Thailand is rich but most of the capital is held by a very small minority...

Some of which is held in trust out in the Dubai desert... gigglem.gif

As the FED rate hike become more certain for this year, the Thai economy has really been hammered.

The SET has seen a massive amount of outflows in the last month, which has weakened the Baht, there are issues with the sale of Thai Government Bonds due to slow dispersment of Government spending, and unforfilled promises made at the time of the Bonds issueance.

Add these things to the news of large factory closures ( Samsung, G.M. ) , weak consumer spending, rising household debt, weak exports and an Agro sector beset with drought.

No wonder Thailand has lost its smile.

a big YAWN...!!!

This problem is evident since many years or decades. Every government tried to manage that problem, plans were made, money spent......ended in some pockets. No results since.

It's the same to protect BKK from flooding.

And so we'll read same story next year

LOS? or for vomiting?
