Getting 15 day work permit, BOI with company

Featured Replies

Not sure if the being under the BOI makes any difference.

I am trying to get a 15 day work permit for a software developer who we need to get work done urgently for a company in Europe.

I have just read that this 15 day work permit might get rejected for a software developer as this role is not allowed for this WP. I have been told different things and trying to google it and not really finding out all the information, rang the BOI yesterday and today, they said they will send me information but I have not heard anything since.

So, wondering if anyone here knows the following.

- will a software developer be able to get the 15 day work permit, we want to hire him fulltime, but that would take long, the sooner he is working the better.

- what sort of invitation, agenda letter do we have to make? Just a letter inviting him for the urgent work?

- how much will it cost? It sounds like it costs nothing when I google it, but i doubt it.

Thanks

A far as I know their is no profession not allowed to get the 15 day work permit.

A WP10 application form dose not mention it. http://wp.doe.go.th/wp/images/form/Form_tt10.pdf
