No its motorway and you can't take a motorbike on it, you will have to go through Laem Chabang, Sri Rachara up the sukhumvit rd etc

Wrong.... Motorway where you cannot ride bikes starts at the toll gates way past the Chonburi exit. Anyway, you can use the new service road running parallel to the highway all the way to the Khao Kheow Zoo overpass.

Yep second what Just Curious says you can go the quick way and tbh taking your bike is the best way to see the park anyway lets you go at your own pace and allows you past all the cars stuck in traffic, give yourself plenty time as the place is massive and a very good day out!

Not quite what you might expect from an "open" zoo; feeding caged tigers and lions meat off a spike. Still, it's Thailand, so animal welfare isn't the best. Don't miss the aviary. If you can go midweek you will avoid the crowds.

There are signs banning bikes already in Pattaya.

For now... there has always been signs stating that the Highway 7 extensions are free to use temporarily only, toll gates are being put up all the way to soi waterworks (pornprapanimit?) and in any case motorcycles are supposed to stay on the service lane outside only, which at the moment doesn't go all the way yet.

So enjoy the motorways/ pattaya bypass while it last

They already closed many exits along the stretch between Laem Chabang and Sriracha anyway that it is less confusing to go on Sukhumvit instead
