Postmaster
That is really cheap. Take it. I have just bought 10 rais near Nang rong with chanote for thai lady and taken a 30 year lease for 1.5 million. 200,000 is a gift.
mango66
I gues !! Chanote for farm land ?? Most of thailand dont have Chanote , max thor bor 3 !! But most farmland dont have chanote, and you would not get below 200k per rai !! and not for 5 Rai ! Only you make the deal late in the night ! But than in morning, the land might be gone !! Pheat123
13 years ago I bought 5 rai on the outskirts of the village where I live in Southern Buriram. It had eucalyptus planted at the time. The owner was desperate to sell. I got it for 40K baht. Today it has power and water running past and it is on a tarmac road, my wife has full chanote title. If we wanted to sell (which we don't) we woudn't consider any offer under half a million baht.Your wife has made a great return on your investments
cornishcarlos
I'm amazed sometimes at the perceived value of land here. Unless, as someone else mentioned, there is oil in them there hills I have come to the conclusion that a chanote titled plot to live on and rent land for busniess purposes makes the most sense. Just my opinion of course...

liveforever
Just to let you know, full chanote, everything in order and bought (wife gone half's) Thanks to all. Kind regards
Robert24
Question is whether you have access to water, ie you can grow 3x per year rice or not. But price per rai for rice field is about 130k. 200k for 5 rai sounds too cheap.
MiKT
If it has suitable paper to enable you to build on the land it is a bargin. Check out who actually owns it though. Nb land in Buri Ram that went for 40k/rai a few years ago and ended up next to the new footy stadium and race track is fetching 6-12 million Per Rai! Some people can get lucky.
