August 12, 201510 yr Khmer Times/Igor Kossov and Va Sonyka PHNOM PENH (Khmer Times) – Star 8 Asia will launch its electric-powered tuk-tuk showroom on August 28, hoping for robust demand from the city’s drivers. The company has interviewed over 100 drivers during the creation of its three models – two for passengers and one for freight. The company boasts that the vehicles will offer a price advantage to their operators, besides being environmentally friendly. “Of course it's cheaper than gasoline," said Phil Stone, Star 8 Asia's general manager. One full charge will give the vehicle a range of 50 to 80 kilometers, depending on road quality. Five hours of peak sunlight, which is standard for Cambodia, will extend that range by up to 30 percent. A full charge from an outlet may cost up to $2 total. read more: http://www.khmertimeskh.com/news/14288/solar-tuk-tuks-rolling-out-soon/ ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français ThaiVisa, it's also in French
