We would like to drive by car from Krabi to go to Koh Lanta and take a car ferry boat. It is operates all the year ? How often by day ? We would like to go on september.

The car ferry boats run all year round, the only exception is when there is very bad weather, normally during a couple of days in April. They start around 6 or 7 in the morning, during September the last boat is around 10pm. You just buy the ticket and drive onto the boat, they leave when they are full, no set times, but you shouldn't have to wait too long usually
