The old HOB Plates and the new Ceramic HOB

The new one is actually bigger than the old one.

If you need some one to cut the bigger hole, go buy a cheap sabre saw and a blade if not included and cut it yourself. The pattern comes in the box with the stovetop. If you didn't get one go back to the store.

Save yourself some grief. If it is a rental, you will have to leave the new top in place.

Yes indeed, it's quite a simple job to make a bigger rectangular hole in the plywood top.

I wish, I were a couple of years younger and able to do it myself.
