Any basketball fans out there who knows of a pub or some place that will air the NCAA game? I know it's short notice but the Live Webcast of the game does not work too well.

good luck...you'ld be lucky to find professional basketball anywhere in town much less NCAA. I asked the same regarding major league baseball only to have the local english speaking barbarians brutally advise that US sports are not available nor are they welcome on wide screen in bars around town.

I say send in the Marines to capture, torture and otherwise incarcerate British and Aus bar owners in squalid camps upcountry until the world is made safe for US sports...fukc Iraq...

bluecat...nah, what we are talking about here is the non-BG type bar with wide screen tv where europeans and their friends go to get excited about soccer, rugby and cricket...major league baseball and NCAA (college) basketball are american sports activities and are generally distained...

I have to admit that there are more brits and their colonial associates about locally than americans so that the proclivity is not surprising...

hmmmm, niche market? Oh well, going to have to go to the embassy and try to get in - wonder if security is tight. Though, I have to say, their direct satellite feed is paid with tax payers money so we should be able to use it.

when trying to penetrate embassy security watch out that some bad-ass marine don't get in your face and demand to know what team you support 'Sir!'
