Non B Visa cancellation

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I applied for a non B visa last month, as I was intending to take a job in the north of Thailand. However I did not get it stamped into my passport, because I needed to wait until the last week of my tourist visa to pick it up. I have since changed my mind and declined the job.

I never started work or signed a contract there.

Do I need to cancel the non B and go to immigration? I am leaving Thailand on Sunday morning, so this is going to be impossible!

Help!

Tom

If the visa and entry was never stamped in your passport there is nothing to cancel.

You can just leave the country.

Thank you. I was on a tourist visa working, but they wanted me to move to the north to another branch of the company. Something I wasn't keen on.

Decided at the last minute to back out and my now ex employers seem to be threatening me about it. Saying I have to go and cancel it by the 8th. I told them I've leaving the country and will be going by the end of the weekend.

Another person admitting to having scant regard for Thai law.

A glance at a tourist visa will reveal the words "Employment Prohibited"!
