Can the word KHANTOK apply to the actual northern Thai meal, or does it just refer to the pedestal table?

My understanding is:

1. KHAN - a small dish used in khantok cuisine (metal?). What is its use?

2. TOK - the small pedestal table.

Thanks for your help. My apologies, but I am not too well versed on this.

Dear AyG,

Thank you for that. I sort of guessed it would need to have AHAN attached to it.

I will list it as AHAN KHANTOK (อาหารขันโตก). Also I think 'tray' is better than 'table'.
