Increases in vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks threaten years of progress
The herd immunity was no more than mooted and quickly scotched......they then moved to pretend to protect the elderly, but just chucked them out of their hospital beds back into care homes, where the virus wreaked havoc -

Why so many conspiracy theorists and what to do about them
Measles isnât some harmless rite of passageâitâs a highly contagious, potentially deadly disease that we had nearly eliminated thanks to vaccines. Now? Cases are surging. Over 127,000 in Europe last year. 800+ in the US already this year. And yes, children are dying. Those arenât just âco-morbiditiesâ or âbad luck.â Theyâre preventable tragedies in a world thatâs turned basic science into a debate. Measles can cause encephalitis, permanent brain damage, and deathâespecially in young kids. The idea that we should just âride it outâ like itâs 1962 again is not just ignorant, itâs dangerous. Vaccines are why we havenât seen mass death from measles in decades. But immunity is a collective effort. When vaccination rates drop, herd protection breaksâand the virus comes roaring back. This isnât some pharma conspiracy. Itâs epidemiology 101. Vaccines work. Full stop. Donât let anti-science fear-mongering masquerade as âcritical thinking.â And donât wait for more kids to die before we take this seriously again. You want freedom? Start by freeing yourself from disinformation. -

Decisions, decisions, where to stay in retirement?
Jomtien is indeed full of Russians. My condo building is full of them - some Germans and me when I'm in town. But it's not a retirement destination for me. Also, my condo building stinks of cannabis 24/7, which is not nice... I was in Chiang Mai last week. Too much smoke pollution, and that's also the problem in Laos and Myanmar.
