whistling.gif Good advice above about insurance.

You need to to understand about muay Thai training in Thailand.

For many young men that is the one way to get out of a poverty trap and make some by their standards "serious money" for them and their family.

They are dead serious to use their talent and train as a fighter to bring their family out of poverty if they can do it.

It is NOT just a sport or a "game" to them.

Are you willing to train to that level of seriousness that these poverty stricken kids are.... because for them it often means life or death.... if they are good enough it's their only chance.

And if you attempt to come up against them, you are in their way.

Can you , as a westerner, match that kind of hard core desperation?

Been lucky then rich but since I will be doing muay thai and chances of injuries are high id rather be safe, will be there for a long period too :) and I do understand what muay thai is about I have been doing it since I was 13 and that is why I want to gi thailand and do it with the best blokes :) I cant match their "desperation" but I can match their dedication.

Sorry, but isn't that a sort of normal where you come from? I mean to fight after some alcohol over nothing?

Isn't that why people in pubs have to drink out of plastic cups?

You can walk into any bank and buy an insurance policy. I was just kidding regarding the fights, when drunk. Will never happen, right?
