Hi all, i hold a resident visa and now need a work permit. I am an age 71 New Zealander. Retired and gave up my last work permit about 5 years ago.

Have searched here and can not find the relevant info.

If you have permanent residency it should not be very hard to get a work permit. You will just need the supporting documents from your employer.

Any idea what those documents are? And what the requirements of the employee are? I intend to do a bit of computer consultancy, usually for free, but i need a work permit for a few months. If you are expert on this i will PM and tell you why.

Having PR is supposed to make getting a work permit easy. I've no personal experience, but I suggest you visit your local Labour Office as they will be the ones issuing it and will be able to tell you exactly whats needed.

The company needs to supply company documents such as those of incorporation, audited accounts, capitalisation ,shareholders your credtionals etc etc,
