BANGKOK:-- A Japanese man has died after falling from a condo in the Huay Kwang district of Bangkok.

The unnamed man, who is believed to be 35 years old and between 170-175cm tall, was found outside the Lumpini Place Condo on Rama 9 Road late on Monday night, reports Daily News.

The man, who worked as a truck salesman, was found to have a number of injuries including a fractured skull, two broken arms and a broken ankle.

Police investigating the incident told reporters how they found a suicide note inside the man’s room, which suggested he may have argued with his Thai wife prior to him committing suicide.

Police also said there was no sign of forced entry in the room and that they would be speaking to the man's wife as part of their investigation.

Police believe that Yoshi-aki Thakita committed suicide by jumping down from his rented room of Lumpini Condominium at 9 pm Monday.

Police found a suicide note in his room together with a phone number of a Thai woman. His room remained tidy with no sign of foul play.

Sorry to hear about this poor guy. Cannot imagine what it would be like to feel that bad you would take your own life.

(cue to Thai bashing gang that haunts the forum to attack all Thai women and to say the suicide not was penned in Thai, not Japanese.) thumbsup.gif

Something to consider before final ruling by RTP. The wife's brothers uncles and maybe boyfriend would not have to make forced entry into the apartment. It takes a lot of money and a high position to get a proper investigation here.

He may have argued with his Thai wife before committing suicide ?

There are an ordinate amount of foreigners dyeing from what police claim are falls from condos.

More than a western city. Would it not be a good idea to set up a commission to find out why so many are

meeting their demise like this or do the Thais not want to find out that some woman like to push their

husbands out of balconies

ahha ! the thai wife again .......... !! property ? money ? her family ?

RIP.

Japan man.

Or perhaps suicide as suggested by the presence of a suicide note?

The 29 year old Frenchman found hung on Koh Tao with his hands tied behind his back, had a suicide note next to him...

Nothing is ever worth suicide. Learn to love adversity and always fight through.

"Learn to love adversity and always fight through."

An invaluable bit of wisdom for anyone truly making a go of it in Thailand. And you know who you are.
