Not easy at all in PP compared to other locations. You can only get a single entry tourist visa there.

It takes 3 day to get a visa there. Other locations have next afternoon service after applying.

You can get a 2 entry visa in Laos.

Joe, that's a little harsh...yeah, it takes 3 days as opposed to 2 at some other places. And next-day service us available if you get your passport to an agent by 10 in the morning. You are right about the number of entries though. Also, maybe the OP is going to be in PP anyway so just wants to know how "friendly" they are...like how Manila is generally considered unfriendly.

Not harsh. Just stating facts when compared to other nearby locations. No need for an agent at any of them and some do not allow them.

PP is the same but can use them for convenience if you w

want. PP also has nice air con waiting room. I thought I read somewhere in Vientiane people have to wait in line outside in the sun.

In any case, Vientiane and Phnom Penh are both pretty easy for tourist visas.

have you ever gone through the experience of applying for a tourist Visa yourself in Phnom Penh? If so please tell why you think it was easy?

Maybe only a dozen times over a decade so not much experience really. I've posted "how to's" before for both tourist and non-immigrant O's for retirement purposes. You can search under my user name if you want to read them.

If you have a specific question post or pm it to me and I'll answer if I can.

I don't have a question but compared to other places I don't regard the embassy in Phnom Penh as being an easy place to get a Visa. Firstly the attitude of the staff there is dreadful. And it's the only place I have ever been asked to provide a copy of a bank statement to get of tourist Visa.

I'm not discounting your experience... just saying it hasn't been mine. I've gotten maybe a dozen tourist visas over the past decade from PP (always through agents) and never had to provide anything but my passport. The last was maybe 9 months ago so if your experience was more recent than that, the requirements may have changed.
