Hi guys,

I've seen a few threads that are kind of related but don't answer my question or are old and out of date, but can anyone point me in the right direction to find a RELIABLE engine machining shop. Just bought an old Aussie classic car and I'd like to fully rebuild the engine and will need to find somewhere to prep the engine block and head. So basic cleaning, boring and honing.

Also is there anywhere that does really good body work? Kar Color has closed down in Bang Chang. Or maybe they have moved. I can't find anything except an abandoned shop.

Any help would be great.

There was a Thai guy who used to work building engines in America, I think Nascar, but not sure that had a shop somewhere opposite Bira a few years back, not sure if he is still there.

He was rebuilding engines properly.

Had a look at google maps and I think it is opposite that splashdown waterpark, but not sure.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm still looking for another car now. The guy decided that it was easier to sell to someone closer (paid more money). At least I got my small deposit back.

I can build the engine myself but I really need someone that is competent at machining the engine like line boring, refacing etc.
