Moe Collecting Papers

Featured Replies

I have heard that MoE is asking schools to send all the paperwork to them(WP, TL, passport, photo, certificates, etc.).

Are they going to check all the teachers? IMO i will take them ages (btw, does anywone know how many farang teachers are here in thailand - working legally).

What I don't undertand is, that by checking all the paperwork again, they admit that they didn't do a good job when they were supposed to check it (when you apply for WP etc.).

What also suprisses me is, if they did not have enough time to do it when teachers apply for their WP and TL (let's say a few teachers per day), how the hel_l they gonna do it now when they get papers from all over thailand.

Where did you hear this?

If true, it's probably a local thing between the MoE and a particular (type of) school. IMO

my HOD told me they got a letter asking them for wp, tl, passports etc of their treachers. my wife's school (another province) got the same letter. there is also something on ajarn.com forum.

Um, our school does this *every year* when immigration renews our visas. Perhaps there are one or two schools who had been forgetting this in the past?
