Quote: "ALL women enjoy Frenchies."

You've made out with every woman on the planet, have you?

I just think human sexual preferences are so varied that it's misguided to try and impose a criteria about what constitutes "genuine love," especially when you're crossing cultural barriers, or for that matter, meddling in someone else's relationship

No, of course I haven't but every

woman I've made out with

(hundreds from many different

cultures and countries) < snip >

whatever reason, feels very

inadequate and can't limit his

than the person starting it

Colds, mononucleosis, glandular fever (kissing disease), herpes, warts, tuberculosis, hepatitis B and meningococcal disease can all be transmitted by kissing.

I'm just saying that there are also some very sensible and pragmatic reasons why someone might wish to avoid kissing someone when their partner's sexual and/or medical history is unknown.

What a romantic.

LOL so THAT'S why the woman in the OP won't snog her man.

I honestly didn't realise that so many guys in Thailand are with women who refuse to kiss them passionately on the lips.

This topic's been illuminating.

Sniff kiss is the accepted tradition here → shows intimacy & respect....And that might be after seeing each other for awhile....

The Thais by and large are a non kissing society - just as they also are a non hugging society.....

Any gal that is quick with her tongue has been experiencing and is aggressive in western ways....You have to wonder/worry about how/why they've come know/employ the western "triggers"......

Ridiculous but largely consistent with the observations of older men in Thailand whose younger partners generally can't bring themselves to exchange saliva with them.

Total nonsense to suggest that a Thai woman who can French kiss will have learned this from foreign men.

Next we'll be told that Thai women who have sex out of wedlock will have learned that from farangs

French kissing is ABSOLUTELY the norm among young couples here.

Go to a Thai bar or club with lots of young folks - then come back and tell us that sniff-kissing is the norm.

I agree with you bar you observation of older men...from a lot of you posts mate you hang it on us mature types, you wanna have a think about why you take any opportunity to put us down.

Me being an older guy haven't had any kissing issues with any of the 4 THG's I've had or the dozen or so others I've took out on a date, some of the posters here want to put it on to culture, yeah if you dating a village girl living in a village way up in the NE living a conservative life, the average Thai woman is just like your western woman and i think way more liberal, without knowing the OP's woman hard to make an assumption but of course if she's not into you it shows up in many ways..

And cypress not just old farts get caught up in that hazy feel of a one sided love affair, I've seen plenty of young ones too who can't recognise a crap love affair as well.

Sniff kiss? What the blazes is one of those?

haha - when my girl friend starting doing that i thought what the hell...

but she does it with her cousins babies as well

they kind of pucker up against your cheek/neck make a funny noise and breath through nose at same time

i was not sure about the kissing thing either because she very rarely kisses western style as well but i guess this thread clarifies that a bit now even tho i had kind of figured it out already.

someones comments above about her not being into this guy are so miss placed, as someone else said he needs to embrace the country that he is in and in learn about their culture not just barge in with pre conceived ideas and prejudices.

No French kiss means she has 234 boyfriends.

Half French, 109 boyfriends

Full-on French, 10 boyfriends

asking the question, 0 friends

so my GF does full french occasionally like every couple days i guess - does that mean i do not have any friends?

My missus is a specialist of the Glaswegian kiss.

OK I give what is that?

It's the same as a Kirkby kiss.smile.png

still none the wiser lol...

It is also known by many other names but essentially it is a head butt.

Got it now ?

In Thailand...and with a good girl?

If you force a French kiss on her in private.....you may face rape charges.....

If you do it in public.... you will be jailed and tortured without charges...

If you do it in front of her family.... you will be cremated against your will...

If you Google "french kissing Thaivisa.com" you will see that there have been countless threads on this subject dating back well over a decade.

Click on a circa 2004 thread, and you will see that the majority of posters reported that their Thai partners did not enjoy or were unfamiliar with Western style kissing. If you comb through all of these threads up until present day, you can actually trace how this has evolved over time.

The notion that French kissing is universally practiced throughout the world, much less throughout Thailand, is utter hogwash. It's but one style of kissing; that's why it's called "French" kissing, guys. Many Thais are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with this style, or simply find other kissing styles more pleasurable.

In my opinion, the primary reason that Western style kissing is practiced in Thailand nowadays more than in the past can be traced back almost entirely to Western influences (media, pornography, and through contact with Westerners via the sex industry.) Take these three factors out of the mix and Thais would probably still happily (and, yes, sensually, passionately and erotically) be sniff kissing one another as they have been doing for centuries.

I sometimes French kiss my wife. Sometimes we sniff kiss. The reason I find all the "real men French kiss" swagger on this thread so repugnant is not out of sexual squeamishness, but because it shows so much ignorance and disrespect for Thai culture. Furthermore, by promoting this warped notion that "if your girlfriend doesn't French kiss you it must mean she doesn't really love you," it surreptitiously encourages others to disrespect Thai culture as well.

Despite what some of the blowhards and swagger-meisters on this thread would have you believe, showing consideration for your partner's love-making preferences doesn't make you less of a man, it makes you more of one.

Actually, Alex, you're absolutely right - there are plenty of younger guys who are equally clueless if not more so.

Profuse apology extended.

There are certain posters I like to wind up and they just happen to be older - the decent oldies tend to get caught up in the crossfire smile.png

Not french kissing is not at all a bad sign, but neither is it a gauranteed good sign.

RE: not French kissing

Depends on what you want. If you're just looking for a bit of fun then it might be a bad sign; if you're looking for something long term then it could be a good sign.
