In the north, job opportunities are scarce even when your kids get a good education.

Now, what are they going to do?

Casual employee @ LOTUS?

Wash the dishes at home?

Watch soapies on TV 24/7?

They can do what a lot of young people do....head south to the big smoke for better opportunities, if yours wont go push em.

Marry a foreigner only to find out that piece of paper from uni in Thailand only gets them a job stacking shelves in a local aldi or lidl supermarket.....in the west or massaging old men frankfurter at 50 euro or dollar per half hour in some obscure massage parlour in Europe or the US.

Sad but true, an education from a local government school, will be next to worthless, very few options in Thailand unless you have been to a good university or better getting a degree out Thailand .What job was/is their mother doing and what about the female members of her family?

PS If I had kids no way could I afford a decent education, I would be bringing them back to Europe
