canopus1969 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Feel so sorry for the lad - the father was just a moron.
fritzzz25 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 "police have yet to lay any charges". - as per usual they are going to try get blood from a stone..... the dead guy failed to stop at a red light - he is the OFFENDER.....
gk10002000 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 It is just amazing the mindset there. Absolutely no thought of the future, either one second, minute, year ahead etc. Slow down and proceed with caution at an intersection? Never. Just go in the direction you wanted.
gk10002000 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 as Borat said: It is like giving a loaded gun to a monkey. I swear the Thais think they are driving on a lone quiet village road with nobody else about except them.
Pattaya28 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 One less danger on the road, though sadly the innocent young boy was injured.
grumpyoldman Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Just came from Phuket Town where there are a number of road closures for the Vegetarian Festival, many people not following normal procedures, not following one way directions and jumping lights.
robertthebruce Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Speechless ...... But are'nt we all....
Happy Grumpy Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Better to be 30 seconds late in this World, than 30 years early in the next. For a nation of people that can't be bothered showing up on time, they do sure rush to get to places.
wooloomooloo Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 My wife drives and I ride pillion and I see everything. I shout forward to her at least half a dozen times a day when we are in LOS that the latest lunatic driver wants to die. Occasionally, they do, or will soon run out of luck. Anyway, the boy will be fine and hope he grows up to learn the lessons of the road correctly. Still, there's always the other driver.
NamKangMan Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 One less danger on the road, though sadly the innocent young boy was injured. Yes, sad the child is injured, but I would rather see the guilty party die from their actions, than an innocent road user killed.
