Israel: fear and anger show no signs of abating

JERUSALEM: -- The fear and anger on the streets of Israel show no sign of abating.

An Israeli soldier was stabbed and slightly wounded in clashes with Palestinian youths near Hebron overnight.

Israeli medics say his Palestinian attacker was shot dead.

An inquiry is underway after an Israeli man in his 50s was killed in a rpad accident, also in Hebron.

It is suggested Palestinian youths were throwing stones nearby.

The spate of daily attacks has caused panic across Israel and raised fears that the region is on the cusp of a third intifada, or mass uprising.

Israel arrests top Hamas official

Israel, meanwhile, has arrested a top Hamas official near Ramallah in the West Bank.

Officials have accused Hassan Yousef of inciting some of the recent violence.

Hamas has condemned the arrest, the most high-profile since this latest wave of unrest began a month ago.

This is only the beginning. The occupiers will continue to live in fear because as the reap the whirlwind the whirlwind for the illegal and immoral acts they've committed recently and in the past.

The righteous anger expressed by the Palestinians is being met with understanding in capitals across the globe.

Enough is enough.

The Palestinians attack an innocent Jew for no reason. The Jews strike back and trounce them. The same thing has been happening over and over again for 100 years. Will the Arabs ever learn their lesson and stop the senseless provocations?

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear so. When school kids are taught how to stab a Jew, the situation certainly isn't getting better.

Yes now with so many Arabs who have managed to move all across the world and try to impose their will, no wonder they understand .

For everyone else with brain , it's pretty clear more and more daily.

Israel has a similar lesson to learn. After 100 years of conflict, they still do not have a permanent peace with all their neighbors and internationally recognized borders. Israelis will be forever looking over their shoulders, with their and daughters risking their lives in 3 years of brutalizing military service when they could be enjoying their best years while the problem festers and the Palestinian population grows.

Maybe Israel needs to find a better strategy too, Such as ending 48 years of occupation.

There's always this constant effort to frame things in terms of Jews, because antisemitism is nasty, and thus anyone who attacks and kills Jews is not just a murderer, but an antisemite murderer (somehow worse than an ordinary murderer).

Try framing it in other language: "Young men who have lived their entire lives under a brutal occupation asked what they would do to the people imposing the brutal occupation" Chop chop chop.

Doesn't have quite the same effect, does it?

Current tally since beginning of October: Israeli: 10 deaths, Palestinian: 50 deaths......Unless you think it takes 5 Palestinians to kill 1 Israeli, how can you justify this killing? The answer is simple really, by admitting that a Palestinians' life is worth 5 times less than that of an Israeli.

In WWII there was also a resistance to the occupation of a fascists regime (similar to the current resistance against the fascist Likud party). And that the fascists were losing some of their people due to actions of the resistance, which was then followed by retaliation actions (kill five citizens for every uber mensch killed) of the fascist regime on the occupied and oppressed citizens of Europe, was a given. Without this resistance though, Europe might still be occupied by the Nazis, but fortunately thanks to the support of the resistance, justice was done and Europe was freed of the murderous oppressor.

Being occupied by a murderous regime for 48 years, who justifies the genocide of Palestinians with the scripture in one hand and phosphorus bombs in the other, is something humanity can do without.

The excuse in the 1940ties was "wir haben est nicht gewusst", nowadays we see everything so we do know.......

You need to look up the definition of deflection". I just confirmed your accusation, although I'm pretty sure that Hitler did not need much convincing.

Since when is warfare only tit for tat? The Palestinians have brought down a world of hurt on their own heads yet again.

It would appear that they haven't learned their lesson yet again. Until there's acceptance of Israel's right to exist, they will continue to play the victim and come out at the losing end.
