ramlosa123
Hi I'm going to Thailand for a short 3 weeks trip in a couple of weeks. In my passport I've got, since September 2014: 1 exemption with an extension 3 Single entry tourist visa with 2 extensions (I didn't extend the last one) I've been outside Thailand for 5 months soon. Should I get a single entry tourist visa for my 3 weeks trip? Or will it be safe to go for another exemption? (I've got a return ticket, hotel booking and the required amount of baht) Thanks in advance and have a nice weekend

dotpoom
You mention about having the required amount of money? My Ex visits me yearly, she's never been asked anything about money, she flies in. Edited October 25, 2015 by dotpoom
ramlosa123
You mention about having the required amount of money? My Ex visits me yearly, she's never been asked anything about money, she flies in. I might be out of the loop a little bit since I haven't had a reason to research Thai visa since April but back then some borders required you to show 10k/20k baht. I've was asked to "show money" twice when I went by bus but never when I flew in. Thanks for the help guys
BritTim
You mention about having the required amount of money? My Ex visits me yearly, she's never been asked anything about money, she flies in. I have never, in many times of entering, been asked to show any money. I have seen others asked, however. It is up to the discretion of the Immigration Official. They seem more likely to ask certain nationalities, and anyone who looks indigent. I have occasionally not had the cash on me, but hope I would be allowed to go to the ATM if ever necessary.
