That's why they conveniently don't list the Yaris for example in the posted ad. The Mazda 2 will also get a bit cheaper. Also note that companies that take part in the Phase 2 Eco car program get an 8 year corporate tax holiday. They could probably swallow the increased excise taxes with the tax reductions that they get. But of course it's easier to increase prices and blame increased taxes.
