October 3, 200619 yr Does anyone know of any lists for boy's names(Thai)? Also, would the names 'Hamish' , 'Dougal' mean anything silly in Thai? We're expecting our second soon.
October 3, 200619 yr one of those thai language books by benjawan poonsam becker has a list of names in it. can't remember if it's the beginner or intermediate book.
October 8, 200619 yr we're calling our son a farang name as we think it will be better in the long run (education abroad etc) also, thais use nicknames for each other anyway so he can have a thai nick and a farang name on his passport. you should be able to find a list of decent thai names on the internet ... a good one that works well in both languages is Arun. can't remember seeing hamish in there though!

October 9, 200619 yr I liked the name "Kraivixien" for our little prodigy, (its the name of a hairdressers in Central Chidlom dept store), but the wife thought it was over the top. Recommend you don't go for 'Somkid', because its very old-fashioned - like "Ernest".
