The pair arrived after a brief stop in Bangkok to visit two fellow Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) lawmakers who had been savagely beaten by protesters outside the National Assembly last week. Mr. Rainsy’s return to the country comes amid warnings from the ruling party that he could be imprisoned because of a post on his Facebook page.
