What was your Nickname when you were Young, and Why?

Featured Replies

In grade 3 primary school, I had just topped the class in examinations.

My mother came to collect me.

I had a huge grin.

I kept that nickname for 8 years.

BTW, it was "Happy" Often abbreviated to "Hap".

Now, we have zero contact. I am happy about that too.

Yes and I'm happy to have you help contribute to this topic, but I'll just stick to Big Elvis.

Certainly, Mr Pelvis

Only ever had one then a second much later on....Didn't happen when young but later on in organized sports.....

First was "the Heat" because it rhymed with my first name & and somehow the more pressured the situation the better/more I thrived and took on the challenge....

The 2nd was Thunderstick and had to do with hitting a ball with a bat....

Neither was a "real" nickname because outside those circles/folks it was hardly ever used......

So never ever had a "cool" nickname full time like most of the other posters....
