Hello everyone, i am currently in Thailand on a 90 days tourist visa expiring at the end of this month.

I know that a 6 month tourist visa should be available around mid november.

My question is, once my current visa expires is it possible for me to get out to Cambodia and reapply for a 6 month visa straight away?

Could the member not just leave ASAP and get a double before the rule change?

It appears that the METV is only available from embassies or consulates located in a country in which you are either a citizen or a legal resident.

Among other things it also requires proof of a fairly substantial amount of money in the bank ... Baht 200,000 I believe.

Prior to Nov 13 you might be able to get a double entry tourist visa and single entry tourist visas should still be available before or after the 13th.

Is the 90 days referring to the expiration of the visa or do you mean 60 days plus 30 day extension? There is no 90 day tourist visa per se.

If you got a 60 day entry and haven't yet done so, you can apply at immigrations for a 30 day extension.

He would have to get on a plane to Laos now. Drop his paperwork off in the morning. Pickup new DV on the 12th. No holidays to worry about in November. Done and done.

Yes i have a 60+30 days tourist visa ending end of this month.

So i guess from what i understand here after 13th of november i can still reapply for a single entry 60+30 in Phnom Penh?
