Paris attacks: IS are 'psychopathic monsters', says Kerry

PARIS: -- US Secretary of State John Kerry has described Islamic State (IS) militants as "psychopathic monsters" following Friday's deadly attacks in Paris.

Mr Kerry, in Paris for talks with President Hollande, said the US stood "shoulder to shoulder" with France.

Mr Hollande says France is committed to destroying IS and has vowed to step up air strikes in Syria and Iraq.

IS has said it carried out the attacks on bars, restaurants, a concert hall and a stadium in which 129 people died.

France was only striking Iraq before the Paris attacks. Not Syria.

But latest terrorists of Paris were linked to Syrian IS corporate franchise. Not to Iraq.

France declared the attacks as an act of war and obtained politically a wildcard to strike Syria. Just on the moment that Assad forces and his coalition started a large offensive in Raqqa...?

Let's not forget that Assad was waging a war for 5 years with his back to the sea.

Using the term psychopath only serves to show how little Mr Kerry knows about these people. It is like when the term cowards is used for these jihadists. They have teamwork so are unlikely to be psychopaths. They are clearly dedicated and fearless. It is better to say they are committed and brave than to spout this nonsense. All rational and peace loving people of the world should be aware that the terrorists involved in these outrages are determined, organised and inherently vicious. To fight them will not be easy and will need a steel resolve.
