Would like a consultation with a local Pediatric Opthalmologist.

My 3 yr. old eye seems to have Amblyopia (Lazy Eye) which looks to be getting worse in the last 1 1/2 years since we saw the specialist at Sriphat who told us that he will simply grow out of it.

From my internet research it appears that one can go blind from the condition so I would like a second opinion.

Any suggestion greatly appreciated!

(btw thanks to those who recommended Dental Land for him, we both had a good experience there)

Dr Rachada at RAM would be a good person to consult, she's not a dedicated Pediatric Ophthalmologist (not sure they exist here) but she's eminently approachable and considered to be a leader in her field. And yes you are right, lazy eye does require attention, if left untreated it MAY become serious. Another option for you might be the Rutnin Clinic in Bangkok, I know it's a long way to go but they have a very solid reputation regarding ophthalmic care.
