clinics in or near chalong

Featured Replies

hi guys, anyone know a decent clinic in or near chaling area? English speaking.

cheers

Small "clinics" are best avoided unless addicted to bags full of different coloured (expensive) pills !

There is a choice of hospital on the Island.

Very cheap medicine at the local clinics.

I think Chusak in Kata is a good doctor.

I've been to Dr. Thiti in Chalong. He's okay for basic stuff. He's about two buildings before the circle as you approach it from Rawai. But I'll agree with Stevenl, Dr. Chusak is good! If he doesn't know, he'll send you to a specialist. He gave me the number of a good rheumatologist at Phuket International several years ago.

Will 2nd both stevenI and Jimi007, near Chalong circle Dr. Thiti, if you can get over to Kata, I prefer Dr. Chusak over Dr. Thiti, have known Dr. Chusak for 20 years or more, he once diagnosed something for me for 300thb, when I got back to the U.S. had a "specialist" give me the exact same diagnosis for 300$US. DOHHHHHH!!!

There's a clinic opposite Villa Market in Chalong. I go there occasionally for a free diy blood pressure check on one of their automatic machines. I don't know if they have spoken English skills.

I agree that Dr. Chusak in Kata is the best. I've known him for 12+ years. He speaks English .

Friend here recommeneded dr chusak, found his location on google maps.

Just a blocked ear, drops not working, will try anti biotics from pharmacey first.

A friend recommended here, is this dr Chusak?

https://m.facebook.com/pages/คลีนิกหมอชูศักดิ์/543403932348017

That page is in Thai, and I'm sorry to say I can't read that. But the address in on Thaina Road, which is also where Chusak is, so it looks like that page is Chusaks.

Maybe it's just a build up of ear wax, not an infection.

If so, he will syringe warm water, under pressure, into your ear, to try to dislodge the wax.

Maybe no need for tablets.

Dr Chusak recommended warm olive oil for breaking up ear wax - it works.
