Hello I have had two double entries, from Vientiane, one part not used but expired I got another single entry in savannakhet and got an extension, I didn't expect to be in Thailand this long but decided to stay on as my work is on the Internet and I can do this anywhere in the world and the timing for it is great here, I'm wondering If I could obtain another single entry? Im Thinking of going to Cambodia for a week or so, Can I get a single entry in phnom penh I have proof of transferred funds over 700,000 Baht which I spent in my time here so far, Would I have hassle obtaining another single entry tourist Visa?

I don't think anyone knows for sure.

From what I've heard, once you have 3 or 4 visa stickers in your passport you'll start having issues.

I'd say once you have 4 visa stickers you will be warned or even rejected.

The only limit is getting back to back visas at the same embassy or consulate.

You should have no problem getting another one in Phnom Penh.

I got a double entry visa at Vientiane that is about up. Would I be able to get one more or is two back to back not doable now?

Since November 13th when the METV started 2 entry tourist visas do not exist. You can only get a single entry visa now. You can get a single entry visa without a problem.

whistling.gif It is hard to say precisely.

Usually it may cause problems if you get three or more from the same consulate.

That is why you should consider getting no more than three visas from the same consulate.

Switch to another consulate in another country.

Even then, there is no guarantee.

There have been reports of people entering the country with more than 6 tourist visas being taken aside for questions on where their money to live in Thailand is coming from.

As far as I know there are no reports of someone actually being rejected on entering Thailand.... but people being questioned on where their living expenses are coming from.

So fort hose that are wise, it would be good be able to show a source of funds....most preferably from outside Thailand.

But in truth, it is hard to say what number of tourist visas is "one to many".

P.S. Do not EVER say." My work is on the internet" again in Thailand....especially in some place where others can read or hear it.

Sorry, but this is a typical response here. Anecdotal (at best) - but really just adding confusion.
