Thanks Joe...thanks very much.i am moving to a new house and the landlord will register me with immigration so that problem will be solved i think...as my son is noving with me too (the court has granted me sole parental rights)...do i have to change his tabian baan also ?

There is no requirement for his registry in a tambien ban be changed.

Also that would not be possible unless a Thai that has a tambien ban for that area was willing to allow the change to theirs.

    I suggest you do nothing which potentially further complicates your situation. AFAIK there are no legal "bypass" mechanisms that could be used.

    If you go our and back you can extend the 30 day entry at immigration for 30 days. They will not be that stringent for proof of residence for the 30 day extension as they are for the 60 day extension.

True, but the website of the immigration Bureau calls it visa extension.

Ok...now i have formally changed my address and obtained a 60 day extension.I think it is single entry. I will be going to UK for 6 weeks so i think my visa will become void as i leave. Now i want to extend for a year before i go...i know i need financial proof and an income letter ...will it have to translated in Chaeng Wattana or can any translator do it ?
