The only place I can think of that maybe has it is the electric shop near to the Bus station on North Road. It's on your left hand side when going up to sukie when coming from the Bus station. Next door is a shop that sells light fixtures etc.

Homeworks in the electrical section. Right hand side of the store in the 5th or 6th aisle towards the back of the store. 3M lengths - several different diameters, range of joints and fittings.

Not on the wall with the water pipes.

I always thought the colour of the pvc pipe had something to do with the classification of pipe ,either wall thickness of the pipe or the use of the pipe. Blue denotes domestic water supply, purple denotes recycled water , orange denotes electrical cable etc . The colour is not intended to match the décor .

Veeery long, 5 years is not enough tongue.png

More likely it will get "blunt"/brittle before, some white spots or so.

On one the websites with the white pipes they advertise with extra UV resistance (similar to the UPVC window frames which we have for 5 years without the slightest indication of degradation).

Tried the shop near the bus station, they have the white pipe, but just straight pieces.

I need Y shaped segments. Anyways, will resort to blue pipe for the time being.

The biggest supplier is at Thai Watsadu (Spelling ?) on Sukhumvit (ocean side) about 200 meters before Chaipruk intersection. (1 km past Makro on same side.) Its all down stairs at the back. They will do home delivery for a small charge.

Home Pro and Home Works also stock limited sizes and joints etc,

Thailands color coding is not necessarily in line with your home country.

BLUE - Water - comes in three thickness grades. Thin mainly for drain pipes. Medium for water reticulation not so strong. Thick best for reticulation - particularly if you attach taps to it.

YELLOW - Electrical (NOT Gas as in OZ - although hard plumed gas lines here are painted in Yellow (look at the feeds of gas going into any food hall of a shopping mall) - Outside sizes of YELLOW plastic and BLUE plastic are compatible and can be interchanged in a pinch.

WHITE - ELECTRICAL - Be aware that the White electrical has different dimensions than the Yellow - and White joints etc are not cross compatible with Yellow or Blue.. Also seems to be two standards of White with the systems not nesicarily cross compatible.

GREY - Very thin wall for low pressure "Dirty water" in farms and factories- official use.

GREY - Medium Wall - Process waste water for larger sizes.

GREY - Very thin wall used for low voltage signal wires such as telephone or internet. - Unofficial use.

GREEN - Hi performance water that requires plastic welding etc - can be found in some specialist suppliers.

ORANGE - NOT SEEN IN 25 years here. Not saying you wont find it in some big projects.
